In 1999, Greensboro resident Doug Coley, a member of Guilford College United Methodist Church, was diagnosed with Leukemia. Doug received treatment at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Family and church friends organized a golf event in honor of Doug as a way to inspire him during his many months of treatment. Monies raised were donated to the Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center Leukemia Research Fund in appreciation of the care he received there.
2012 Golf Tournament
This year's event will be held on Saturday, April 5 and will begin with a shotgun start at 1:00pm. Lunch will be served and the silent auction will begin at 11:30am.
